Rest Well, Old Friend

My mom woke me up this morning about 5:30 to tell me that this beautiful, lovely creature of mine had passed away overnight. Socks was 15 years old and not doing well for a while, but it was still a shock. She was the sweetest, most cuddly cat you could have ever imagined. She was crazy in the way that she would wake you up at 3 am just to cuddle with you. I miss her like crazy and it's only been a few hours. I've never lost a pet before, I only hope it gets easier.
